Just out of curiosity, do you or anyone else know how much I promote Adam and UO Forums? 42 times alone as news on UOToolbar.org. Multiple links all over the UO Toolbar. Multiple links on the other toolbars (like LOTROXbar & WoWXbar, because those games are supported on UOForums).
Why? I know you know why, but it needs to be said just for drill. Because Adam is a great admin and runs an awesome forum. UO Forums is an asset to the UO community. Adam busts his ass making UO Forums what it is and constantly betters it to make it what it can be. Outside of the UOF members, I believe UOF is under appreciated... so I mention UOF every chance I get.
In that same vein, I believe Stratics and EAM are both over demonized (not by you, but by the community at large).

I agree with you on that, EAM need to be more accessible to their communities. Ideally all the community contributors (TTL, UOForums, UO Guide, UO Stratics, WRRAD, UO Toolbar, etc.) would all get that opportunity. But we have to deal with the cards we are dealt, or try to make it better... even if that means the community builds closer ties within itself with minimal company support.
The only way that might change... is for the community as a whole to tell EAM, "this is what WE need". Just saying "it'll never happen" won't make things change... the community has to actually DO something.
Are there things EAM could do better? Sure. Absolutely. But bashing someone over the head with the past isn't going to make things any better. Asking for & offering workable (meaning learning to pick one's battles) solutions is more likely to get their attention.

I know you do, and I didn't ask -you- to stop... and wouldn't expect any less Dip. I respect you Dip. But let me be honest, there isn't one bad thing that can be said about UO or EA that the entire community has already heard for 10 years. People get it.
I know it's frustrating. That's why we love and hate the games we play. Why people like Adam & the UOF crew; Larisa, Orvago, Piotr, *zigzag* & the UOS team; JC The Builder & Cogniac on UOGuide; Flutter & Thradia on TTL; Crystal Rose & Sandman on WRRAD; Jeremy, Draconi, Leurocian, Chrissay, Kilandra, Supreem & the UO Team; and many more are so passionate about not just the game... but the UO community.
