I am thinking about adding fishing to my archer. But I have some question about fishing.

1) what type of bow should i use, as in slayer type?
2) can you safely log out on boats?
3) I had a couple more but I think of them now.
3a) I remember... can you lock items on a boat?
4) Besides a fishing pole and boat what are some other items that i will need?

Hi Merc, I gm'd fishing a long time ago, so i'm not sure how accurate my info is, but here goes:
1) what type of bow should i use, as in slayer type? I always used a slayer for the serpents. They were pretty easy to take down with it.
2) can you safely log out on boats? I always did, just make sure you invis before you log and are in a area with out water elementals.
3) I had a couple more but I think of them now.
3a) I remember... can you lock items on a boat?Sorta kinda. You can lock your boat, just remember to lock both sides. I wouldn't feel safe leaving anything of value on the boat though. Once I had waterfront property east of Brit and I had some boats parked out front of my house holding some junk and some one used some sort of hack and stole my boats, even though they were locked & refreshed.
4) Besides a fishing pole and boat what are some other items that i will need?I recommend scissors for all the leather your going to get... this way it doesn't take up so much weight/room in the hatch.
If your healing isn't great, i'd get some Cure potions for Greater Poisen some of the serps cast.
