Ryholite is an amazing ghost town. Not sure now, but for a long time Greyhound used make the loop off of 374 to stop there and let the passengers look around before continuing on to Death Valley.

I have some family that lives in Beatty. As kids we used to ride motorcycles and buggies out to Rhyolite and around the open desert. Had to be careful though of all the open mines and vertical shafts.
