Another temporary leave of absence (groggy's fault!)

Just to let y'all know, I will be taking a temporary leave of absence because Groggy broke my computer! (I'm using his work laptop to put this thread up..)

bah, he says he did it on purpose so I could get a new computer or something like that, but somehow I don't quite believe it....

Sucks cuz I'm now on vacation too, but also won't be around much the next week anyways because my RL family is coming to visit from the USA (my sister's first time out of the country!)

So if all goes well, you'll see me next week, and we'll all go Rifting, or maybe even... heavens forbid... FREEEPing! (assuming a new computer comes in soon..)

cheers!

Aly and I are destined not to get on the Freep circuit.

Anyway the timing is pretty good now,cos I have a visitor for the next week ^-^ so will be afk a lot of the time.

THEN we can Freep-Freep together

Have had a break but am back now - though mainly in creep world for the time being I should think.

By the by doies anyone know of a guide to aid creep advancement - have been doiing the usual assignments as much as possible and getting in as many big raids as I can but I seem permanently stuck at rank 2 right now..

Re: Another temporary leave of absence (groggy's fault!)

What class do you play?

I'll try help with some hints... but focus mostly on only Passive skills..

The action at moment in Etten has been pretty lame tbh.. Its like that after the book. In another week the regular freep raidleaders will be back and action returns

Still persevering with my Warg - thought about starting something else but the notion beginning at 0 all over again is a tad depressing.

Re: Another temporary leave of absence (groggy's fault!)

Well, first try get the grams map.. its really important

Then get the advanced stealth trait so you can move fast in stealth.. helps alot.
Then focus fully on passives till you become sig.

Re: Another temporary leave of absence (groggy's fault!)

Gorthyn - I was leading the raid we were in last night - was good to know you were there mate

My thoughts on what creep to play or wether its worth starting:

How far along on your passives are you? Take a screenie and show us - if you arent that far along it then I might be tempted to re roll a Warleader or a Reaver - WLs have got self heal and even as noobs are more powerful in melee than my BA Reavers kick in some big damage also and have that bubble thing to protect them.

Wargs I just didnt really like and are really only useful for knock downs and scouting from what I have seen.

Also I wouldnt worry abotu Infamy Points - Destiny Points are far more important - if you do the two stone trolls quests [one hand in at Lug and one at TR] you can get 1000DP in about 15 mins if you know all the stone troll locations also do Mash [250dp] and if you can shred some hobbits you can get maybe another 1500DP per hour.

What I have done at weekends was log on for 15mins and turn in some quests then re log in 2 hours and turn in the same quest items for 5 mins and log off etc

But overall if you havent moved too far along your passives then maybe consider a War Leader - they are also wanted in raids quite often.

How can i see the difference and what difference does it do ?
