I recently completed the quest for the library token, which by the way was a little crazy. I mean most of the speckled scorpions I killed while fleeing wyverns and paragon efreets while the damn imps dispelled my elementals didn't even have poision sacs. And come on, notary. You mean to tell me you can't just burn a candle to get some wax for your stamp? I mean, I have a candle I could loan you for awhile and it's not filled with scorpion poison.

But anyways, I am officially a friend of the Royal Library so that's nice. I'm glad the collections were implemented. They're a very creative way to control inflation in a virtual economy by taking gold and resources out of the game. My thoughts now are...

800,000 points?!? holy jesus. I'd have to fish up 800,000 fish to get those Mariner's glasses! Anybody working on completing any of the collections that could offer any thoughts on the best way to go about gaining 800,000 points without donating millions of gold. These characters are new and rather poor and just like to read a good book every once in awhile. I like all the glasses and I think I could easily build a character off of some of them. My only guy now is a thief/mage.

Which of them are more easily obtainable than others? Which of the higher end rewards are mostly novelties at this stage in development? Anybody actually get 800,000 points without donating only gold? I'm curious to hear some stories.

There is no shortcut. It takes a lot of effort to get any of them. I think the Folded Steel glasses sell well, generally around 7-10 mill on my shard, and it only costs around 2.2 mill to secure them. However, it does entail a LOT of commuting to blacksmiths on the Tok islands to secure the right weapons to turn in, and you obviously have to "front" the money to yourself to buy and then donate those weapons. Get ready for some drudgery lol, and good luck!
