Mining blackrock?

I was wondering if anyone has found any spots good for mining blackrock. I have been trying at the blackrock ele spawn but have had little luck. Antone having any luck finding this stuff anywhere?

it does not matter anymore where you mine, there are no more specific spots like when blackrock was first introduced.

now just mine anywhere, the only thing you can pull up is the small pieces.

I can say that I have been mining A LOT the past week or so and have not come across one bit of blackrock! And I have a GM Miner. I have mined in Ilshner, Malas, Trammel - you name it, ive been there

Strangely, while I was training my miner from 96-GM, I equipped gloves to take him to 100 or more. I got at least 10 pieces of blackrock. Now that I've GM'ed mining, I've found absolutely none. On top of that, I've only gotten 2 dark sapphires as GM, but a LOT of gems before I hit GM. Guess the RNG liked me better before I GM'ed mining. hehe

It's gotta just be luck. When I looked in my pack yesterday, I had two pieces. Just hit or miss I think and obviously, the odds are low!

I finally found ONE piece of blackrock - and me being oblivious, I never noticed it til too late. I was in 4 different places so I have no idea where it came from. ;D

Hoping to find more though

a simple trick is to put some cloth pieces in your pack which makes when finding the rock easier to see

Well technically you were already gm when you put on those gloves +5 mining. And u can only mine gems when being a gm. So its just a matter of lady fortune gettin out of bed and pleasing your day. As for blackrocks, i havent gotten any either after the event started...

I didn't get any blackrock or gems even at 100 mining until I put on +3 mining gloves... what is blackrock anyway and what is it good for?

i dont know if you can still get it . . . it was used during the first part of the invasion against shadowlords. It was realy the only thing that harmed them.

I have 103 mining (thats with gloves) and i only got 1 piece in a month! But you should still be receiving gems . . . it may depend on where you are mining . . . i have a lot of luck in malas and ilsh

They still drop, I got one last night.

I mine a TON of ore in an hour, and still only get one or two in a 3 hour sit down.
