I had a great time Thursday night, April 17, 2008, at the Risk Trials. I enjoyed being a referee, and scenario creator. My mind tends to think in terms of more complicated scenarios, but I'll back off on that until we perhaps get to a 50 vs 50 campaign involving spies, scouts, fortresses for defense and attack on "islands", and the wandering fisherman who has a clue for success or failure *smiles*.

I honestly think you folks have hit on something very, very big here in "UO". We're used to guild wars, factions, etc, etc., but who is used to PvP with RPing rolled in for territory domination where the whole land is a "playground". And the win/lose has more to do with having fun than a big prize, points, etc. Bragging rights of course is part of the fun.

And I see the "respectful flexibility" already demonstrated as a Key Principle in this kind of "game".

I'll help all I can. I'll never be on the evil or good side. I just stand on the sidelines to help out.

We basically end up with three teams in this. Good, Evil, and Neutral where the Neutral team can help mediate, referee, heal/rez, do news updates, etc. We'll need more neutral folks. BUT... all teams help design and play the "game".
