Thursday night test run
I believe we decided to do test run in vesper for UO risk. Everyone wanting to participate is invited to help with the trial run to help work out any bugs that might arise.
10 pm eastern(If I heard correctly) this thursday, everyone meet at the Vesper bank in Trammel. I am going to wear all gm armour to save on insurance. You dont have to do the same, but I would assume that most everyone will die several times. Make sure you have insurance money. We will divide up in to evenish teams and have a good time. Are we going to just try a test run on the clompin part or are we also going to try one of the events too? (we are still planning on mixing in events, right?)

Ok, I'm going to contradict myself on doing events Thursday, I still really think we should try and split it 50/50 for fights & events, but most of the events we are thinking of are well established on how to run them. What will still have to figure out is how to mix them in, but we can do that out of game.
So yeah, I wasn't thinking when I posted orginally........Again , sorry!Lets just use Thursday to foucus on the island fighting! Woot!

One draw back is if we are starting on seperate Islands some of the bridges are of differing lengths and that could mean sacraficing your scout and then being down one right off the bat ![]() If we had a attacking team and defending team, both decide what tactics they plan on using, hiding, or trying to hold the attackers at the bridge, etc..when both sides are ready the give the ref a heads up and then the ref calls the start of the match. I hope we stick with Se'an's original map, 3 areas each per side first to 10, was it 10?, wins! just my 2 shinnies -Havok

Gak and I both had a great time last night.
I would like to thank everyone that attended, participated, and helped out. Special thanks to Lord Havok and Se'an Silverfoot for getting the ball rolling. For those of you who didn't participate you missed out some good fun AND you missed out on seeing Gak's head roll around the cobblestone streets of Vesper. But fear not, we will do it again next week...and the week after that, too. |

Winfield said he had some screen shots, but there was so much carnage that they can't be posted on UO forums...or maybe we had so much fun it couldn't fit on a computer screen.
