Im also addicted to KR and almost always play the KR client except when Im decorating my house (cant stand to place things in KR).

After I finish my exams I'll give it shot and try to get in the focus group. Try to help them make the client better

Let's see if I can describe the situation without breaking the NDA.

It's a forum, kind of like this one. Like any forum, activity ebbs and flows. Right now it is between focus groups. Not much interaction with the devs right now, but whatever the players post -does- get read.

Focus groups will be active again. They may or may not be taking applicants right at the moment (I really don't know)... but it does not hurt at all to ask to be a part. Just one suggestion, put UO Beta Focus Group App in the subject line of the email... so Jeremy can sort the email properly.

Heh totally forgot about this focus group. I was in it, should still be in it, but since I stopped playing KR, don't go there anymore.

Exactly. Like any forum, you may see a posted topic not responded to... but it'll have a huge number of views (someone is reading it). Then out of the seemingly blue what you posted about that no one responded to... gets addressed and fixed in a patch. Topics do get read.

Also some KR "issues" turn out not to be KR related at all... but part of the engine (which is another company, they pop in and fix it), many issues are driver and OS related (many of which are fixable from Windows Update, MS' TechNet Hotfix Database, and from component maker (like AMD/ATI, Creative, nVidia, and RealTek) sites.

Just trying to straddle that line between what can be said and what cannot. ;)
