I've seen the following post today. Good news indeed..

Being a legendary smith since 1 year and regularly collecting 3 BODs a day, not to mention BODs filled and exchanged, I haven't been able to get 1 single valorite BOD until now..

Lets see how the changes shall effect my bad luck.

BTW, what is meant by 70% chance ?

As I mentioned in a previous FoF thread, I've made some changes to the BOD system. They're not huge, but it should make things a little more rewarding.

1. Corrected a small error that gave skilled smith's a 45% base chance to get a colored BOD instead of the intended 50% chance.
2. GM Smiths still get a 10% bonus chance for a colored BOD (60% total).
3. Elder Smiths get a 20% bonus chance for a colored BOD (70% total).
4. As I mentioned in a previous FoF thread, I've made some changes to the BOD system. They're not huge, but it should make things a little more rewarding.
5. The chances of getting a valorite BOD (once you've passed the colored BOD test), have been raised substantially.
6. There is also a short delay (10 seconds) between turning in multiple filled BODs.

This won't make it into the very next publish, but should be in the one after that.

Good news indeed!! Although, no bonus for legendary?

Antiochian, as to the 70%, it is more a "roll" each time you get a bod, with a chance (1-7) of getting a colored BOD or (8-10) getting a non-colored. Just like melee in UO, this means you can easily get 9 non-colored bods in a row, but will average out over a large sample.

Still getting the same old crap..

still havent gotten a message they are in yet so dont think they have patched em yet!

Ive been a legendary tailor and smith for years and all i get are cloth bods and normal iron smith deeds,nothing else.

Can't wait for this! Are similar changes coming to tailoring?

What is the colored bod test?

Also what are the major changes to BODS in the past 2 years? can u combine small bods into large ones? is there anything else u think i should know? thank you in advance

There are large BOD's that require up to six small BOD's. For example, you might get a Large Chainmail Exceptional Shadow Iron, 20 count BOD. This will require three small BOD's, all Exceptional, Shadow Iron, and 20 count - gloves, coif & tunic being the products for each small BOD. Anyway, complete those three small BOD's, and then you can combine them into the Large BOD. Turn in the completed L(arge)BOD and get a reward of some type, varying with the complexity and rarity of the LBOD.

there is nothing wrong with the way tailoring bods are distributed.

there was a problem only with smithing bods because of the number of different possible combinations which included colored small bods (example 10 shadow female plate tunics) which did not fit into a large bod. there are no small colored tailor bods which will not fit into larges.

Do elder tailors already get a similar bonus to the smithing one mentioned above?
