I want to create a thief character. I know I want to steal rares in the dungons and I wouldnt mind attempting to steal some Power Scrolls or maybe even stuff from PVP. I know I obviously need the Stealing skill and Hiding as well as stealth. But I would like some suggestions on how to fill out the rest of my template.

What age is the account? Do you have 720 skill points available? What shard? Are you on a production shard or Siege? What arties or jewels are you planning to use for this character?

As a thief, will you want to steal, and stick around and try to kill your mark, or are you strictly looking to bank your loot? Bank thief or Field thief?

Do it, it's the best way, I got a lot of my skill points back when there was a server line bug on the shard. LOL. You could jump on a gate, and get your gains without the time delay. It was nice, but funny to watch the server line area near the Brit gate, it used to be full of corpses since the reds new the trick and would get those who didn't know you could use the gate for the same thing. You could get all of your gains done in 2 or three minutes each night, lol...la

I have read almost the entire uothief.com site. I have gone through most of the archives of Chad's adventures. From what I can see from the skills Chad uses in his adventures it looks like my template will consist of

Stealing
Snooping
HIding
Stealth
Ninja
Magery
Tracking (thru this in but wasnt sure about it)

My account is old enough to accomidate 720 skills, I wanted to start this character on the Lake Austin Shard. I am open to obtaining and wearting any arties/jewls needed to round out this character.

As far as knowing what kind of thief I want to be that was the basic question I guess. From reading the masters website and looking through his fun adventures I have the feeling I want to be a snatch & grab thief with the art of GM Running. However I could be directed in other ways if someone has more suggestions or since the master himself has commented on this post maybe a suggestion from him as well.
