Thanks for all the advise! I'm standing at moonglow right now, waiting for the event to take place. Should have startet half an hour ago - but daylight saving kicked in last night. I bet EA missed that detail.

So, the start of the event went quite smooth yesterday. Tons of people were gathered and did some good hunting.

Now i just checked back and ... died. In Moonglow 2 (or whatever it is called) I counted 16 demon bersekers, even one blackrock infected, one shadowlord, lots of the rest and 8 players. We just don't stand a chance.

Also, I fear we are going to loose moonglow, as most players prefer to kill the fallen angels. The berserks hit harder, you hardly make any damage (5-6 for me) and the loot is crap. The angels are much easier, plus you get those planeswords and -shields everybody thinks are gonny get a trade-in.

How are your shards handling it, now that the first surge of player is over?
I like a challenge, but this is just too much. Maybe other shards are handling this well, maybe the should link the spawn rate to the shard population or the number of players in moonglow 2 (a little bit as with the guardians in doom)

Not sure, if it will be Felluca ruleset, but at least on Siege, a thief could steal items from PvMing players. Just couldn't access the bank (the one time I tried) on the other side of the gate...la

Interesting...on my shard, we were sort of killing anything that moved. I never saw too many demons, which suggests that perhaps light is winning...

As of last night, Queen Mum and Sonoma were holding the line. Cookies help a lot.

Well, the dark side seems to be winning, I just entered moonglow 2 and got ganked by 10 berserks waiting around the gate. Someone made a great job luring...

Without wanting to sound tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooo cynical this just seems like a real bad joke.

So the event is the usual pointless monster-fest with some phat loot dropping for all the pixel-maniacs?

Yep, that's it. When I checked it out, there were three (yes you read that right, three) tamers working the spawn on Siege. LOL, I think the only reason people do these events is to try and get the fat lootz. As sson as they hear that all they get is gold and some cheap jewels...they forget about it. I maybe wrong and the day shift may pick up, but last night, it was dead...la

Seriously, can someone check Sonoma - because this is the first I've seen of these particular beasties since the event kicked off on Saturday.

And damn my eyes for not equipping my Tamer with blackrock. My mage is next to useless, even with the blackrock buffs.

Hehe I logged my girl in the Inn cause we got lazy while waiting for the event to start. Wonder how long she can stay alive when I log in.

@Ally: This is not real Moonglow, there's a gate now in Moonglow to get you to this alternate moonglow with all the beasties. So don't fear.

SOME people actually want to keep the cities from falling, just no one knows for sure how to do that. but yeah, most are just in it for the pixel crack
