Prices seem to have skyrocketed, a few weeks ago most vendors were selling small pieces for 10k apiece or cheaper. There was even a vendor in luna that sold a bag of 40 for 100k. Now most vendors have them from 500k to 750k. Supply and demand I guess. I just hope you can get rewards as good as the ones the mysterious merchants gave out so long ago.
