I've been toying with activating a second account. I have an old one, but for the life of me, can't find the old name and password. And it was just AoS anyway.

What's the easiest and fastest way to start a second account and get the latest version? Can I download something or do I need to physically go and buy something?

Easiest way, if you don't mind not having the latest content, is to use the Account Management site and use this code - FREE-UOKR-REG1-14DT

That code, I believe, gives you Samurai empire access
If you want the latest stuff though you'll need to either buy an upgrade code from uogamecodes.com, or buy the game online (Not sure if you can find it in the shops)

If you're okay with starting a totally new account, I can always dig out our 9th anniv boxes from storage and give you the account creation code in there.

Even if your account was "just AoS" there are liable to be some very valuable veteran reward options available to you...

Wouldn't that only be true if they had continued paying the subscription? I was under the impression that if you aren't paying, the account doesn't "age" and if you reactivate it, it is whatever age it was when you quit playing. Not positive, just curious.

I think you're right jfk, but I (perhaps mistakenly) assumed the OP was maintaining the account.

Perhaps not. But hey - I've heard of people having the whole account age when they reactivate, so perhaps there are flaws in the system?

Hey, I remembered the name and password and re-activated. I did have one reward left from the old days I never redeemed so that's good.

Now all I need is a 1 - house. Anyone know of one for sale on Ches?

And 9th Anniversary upgrade. You can get a code for ML online but I don't see a code for 9th. Got to physically buy that?

I'm not sure of the official rule on this, but I do have a friend who started UO at the same time I did, 10 years ago, and took a few years off (apparently, four years). He came back recently, using his old account, and his account is 6 years old. So he did lose the years that his account was inactive.

The ML upgrade should give you access to everything, afaik. But no garantees.

Except for those housing tiles (the crystal and dark ones), and you don't want those fugly things do you? I think ML upgrade is good enough.
