Garden Design Program

I wish someone would write one!

I/ve been looking at Housebuilder and it's very cool. But I'd love to see a program specifically designed to help design a garden in a real UO home. It would have every kind of growable (and collectable) plant in every available color, perhaps along with some common garden elements like pond tiles, stones and such. It could also be creative and include some of the stuff people use like valorite ore for water, etc...

Re: Garden Design Program

Just curious...what skills are needed for gardening. If you want to be self-suficent?...la

Re: Garden Design Program

I might just get my mule to learn that skill. I am planning to need some pots for my thief to relearn poison, so I might as well, learn how to plant , especially since they are in demand on Siege...la

Re: Garden Design Program

Anyone give me a suggestion to current (up to date) gardener guides? I'm sure Stratics has one, but who knows with them how up to date it is...la

Re: Garden Design Program

gardening hasn't changed at all, just make sure you have a water trough nearby to fill your pitcher

Re: Garden Design Program

... and since gardening doesn't require an actual skill itself (just alchemy if you want to grind your own potions to care for your plants), any of your chars on the account that plants the bowls can care for them.

I use both stratics and tower of roses gardening guides. Between the two, there is almost anything I'd want to know.

Re: Garden Design Program

Also, I highly recommend doing the friend of the hive quest, along with repeated Naturalist quests to get some other seeds. Boglings are a great way to get started, tho.
And yes, alchemy is very helpful, along with the necessary water trough.

Actually, when you lock the plants/plant bowls down you can set the security just like any container. If you set it to 'friends, or co-owner' anyone friended or co-owned to the house can tend them.
