EAMythic will tell you use the KR map, Many people that are in love with the KR client also blindly say the KR map is better.

While I found the KR map ok, it was also bad at least for me ( I am colorblind) therefore even though you can change colors of the various things to mark on your map. many of the colors are too close in shade/hue for someone with my problem.

Never really used uoam either, downloaded it at one time. Just do not see the need for it. The world is not that big. And over the years, I have pretty much memorized most of the city layouts. 2D map always been enough for me.
