Returning Player

I haven't played UO in a really long time. I mean a REALLY long time. The last expansion I bought was Lord Blackthorne's Revenge.

Any advice for a returning player?

Hi AOMT,

Welcome back and to Ultimate Online Forums.

Lots has changed since LBR. Your chars & bank are probably still there, but any houses are likely gone. Read some of the play guides around the UO community, like here on UOF and others... how you play and outfit chars now is a bit different nowadays. Chars are more specialized now... meaning it is hard to build a char that can "do it all".

Most of all... have fun!

If you can afford it and want to have full access to the new content, either buy a 9th anniversary or Mondain Legacy code.

If you join Europa, look for the HLP guild, we'll get you started!

Oh, and for the easiest return/learning curve, I'd go for a paladin (that is, if you buy an expansion post Age of Shadows : ML, 9th anni, etc.)
