Smile Today's Question - travel

Is it possible to travel to islands without a Moongate (eg Serpent's Hold) by any means other than owning your own boat?

Re: Today's Question - travel

Well, there are marked runes for these places. Other than a rune or boat though, I do not think so. Oh, wait, the tunnel through Fire dungeon from T2A works for Serpent's Hold but I wouldn't recommend it.

Re: Today's Question - travel

Thanks Cymbria. My problem is that running KR the maps don't work so navigating a boat seems a little difficult. Oh well, I guess I stay landbound for the present.

Re: Today's Question - travel

Just look for a rune library and recall on it.
Or ask someone for a rune to the place. You'll surely find some nice player to do it But bring the blank runes with you. Not many people carry blank runes with them!

A rune library is a collection of runes or runebooks that someone puts on display inside their home for public use.

Re: Today's Question - travel

I'm wondering on which shard you can be found? There are many about who will mark books for others who are new to the lands, which you seem to be. If I or a guildmate may be of assistance on Chesapeake, we certainly shall. I know people of Europa and Catskills have also been most helpful as well.

Re: Today's Question - travel

Cymbria, thank you so much for your kind offer. I play on Oceania, and to be honest, it's very quiet around here. I'm not even sure if there are any guilds active on this shard.
