I go to Tok every day, and I see fair numbers of people there. We do guild hunts there (Lady of the Snow) as well as taking my tamer there to tame Fire Beetles and work pets in the Yomatsu mines (great place).

What I was getting at was people working hard and paying a lot of gold for something, only to have EA totally devalue their hard work overnight (Heritage Tokens anyone?). I would have had no problem if they gave out one or two per shard per account, but no....they gave out two per character, for every char on every shard. I had a friend decorating her house...she busted her azz for weeks to get the one mill plus a piece to buy four to get various items for the house. Three weeks later EA made them worth nothing. Think she was real happy about that? She had no problem with the gifts, but it was frustrating given the effort she put forth only to have it trivialized. I guess that's what I was getting at and not doing a good job of it.

Anywho, it doesn't matter. I am also in the camp that putting more and more items in the game doesn't do crap to draw more folks in or get them to play more. People will farm the crap out of something for a while and then quit the game or move on to something else. Do you keep needing fresh pixel crack to play the game? I am still happy killing swoops, or drags, or doing spawns or whatever. I log in every day, whether there is new content or not, because there is always something to do if I so desire. Needing fresh crack to bring folks back is a bandaid to greater issues in the game, including fixing duping, hacking, speeder, scripting, etc. etc. A lot of my friends have left over THOSE issues, and no amount of "items" will bring them back until these things are addressed. I think you will find if you fix these issues you'll get a LOT more people back on a permanent basis. Until then......nada. JMO. Oh, and FYI, some people find "fun" in the game "collecting" things, including items such as the Tok dyes, the anniversary drops, rubble, rares, etc. etc. It's not about "fresh" content for them. Different strokes for different folks.
