The United Sosarian Alliance is pleased to announced its swtiched gears from the last two months of the USA Dart League to bring you March's USA Archery League. Beginning on Monday Febuary 25th 2008 and continuing through the month of March the United Sosarian Alliance, consisting of the player run cities of Gyldenfeld, Port Baldmor, Silvervale, and Guardians Gate will host the weekly archery league within various cities in the realm.
Commencing at 9pm each nights tournament will be a double elimination, head to head match up against another opponent with ten shots at the butte with the highest total advancing. The last archer to remain will recieve a check for 100k along with and engraved trophy box to commemorate the event. Along with the formentioned prizes, points will be awarded for 1st through 4th place accumilating towards the monthly championship of 500k to be awarded following the 4th tournament in March. No entry fee will be required to enter, any and all weaponry and armour will be permitted.
This weeks event hosted by the city of Port Baldmor will take place just outside the city of Old Haven at it's archery butte's. Registration will begin at 8:30pm with matches beginning around 9pm. Come on out and have a lil fun!

I'll have to admit that I've not recently attended an archery event ongoing for several weeks of activity as this one is. This weekly event hosted by United Sosarian Alliance Archery League is certainly worth participation or simply going out to watch. There is some very fine archery to be seen or to compete against, if you think you are good enough. *wink*
Please consult the event calendar for updates to these events, but the understanding is that they shall be held each Monday through the month of March. Here are a few screenshots of the event at the old Haven archery buttes along with this week's winner, Da' Oni.

Looking at the number and caliber of competitors at the Haven Buttes Monday I knew we were in for a great match as the United Sosarian Alliance held round two of it's March Archery League. Fourteen archers tried thier aim this eve for glory and gold. After some lofty scoring and close matches even a 5 time overtime match, the finals drew near with Niallis of (*V*) versus Da'oni of Silvervale. They began with a fury as Niallis finished first with a score of 660! Da'oni drew closer and closer and showed signs she could actually catch that score and with her final arrow finding its mark bested Niallis with the nights high round of 670 a narrow victory but a victory none the less in the most exciting final i had witnessed yet. Congratulations to Da'Oni and all who came out to play along with the valuable points Da'Oni recieved a check for 500k donated by the good folks of the Whispering Rose Radio Network who also joined us for live coverage over the airwaves. Many thanks to the WRR and we hope you'll make it out next Monday as well! join us this coming Monday as Silvervale hosts on the island Guard Tower between Yew and Silvervale.
