I can't seem to find definitive answers on these so I'm gonna post em.

1. Will the race I pick of the Free Peoples limit what I can learn in game?
2. Is there race specific armor?
3. PvMP is akin to Fel right? Except, unless I misunderstand, I can't take an existent character there. I have to create a new one?
4. If question 3 is correct...This character will always live in the Ettenmoors?

5. What's the best way to pick a "shard?" I live in Arizona. Or do I have a choice like in UO?

6. How does the money and trade or sell system work in LOTRO? Is there money on monster corpses too? Is there a trade window to buy stuff from other players? Is there a bank or mail delivery system like in WoW?
7. When engaged in combat with a dexxer does the game automatically continue the melee? Or do I have to actively attack?

Answers

1 - certain character classes are limited by race

2 - i think that certain armour is race specific

3 - no pvmp is not like felucca - you have to get to lvl 40 on a freep to take part OR once your freep gets to lvl 10 you can make a monster which starts at lvl 50

4 - your creep lives its life in ettenmoor yes [i think]

5 - no idea - i think there is a way to check the ping though

6 - yes there are AHs liek wow and mail also like wow

7 - there is an auto attack option [if I understand your question right]

8. What happens when you die? How do you get rezzed, fame and such.

8 - [phew] - liek wow you get ressed in a stone circle thingy and dying tends to cost money in repairs mostly. no loss of fame as it doesnt exist.

there is already talk that they will add more areas as Ettenmoor futher along the line... as the plot get closer to mordor - which is exciting imo!

As far as servers go, they are all located in the same place so it doesn't matter which one you choose. At least last I checked this was how it was.
