Many moons ago I would take my bard down to the blood dungeon and provoke bloods onto the balron until I felt he was full up with loot and then kill him. Well I built me a new peace tamer and went down to that blood dungeon this morning and I can chew through bloods no problem. I even took on a Blood Elemental (Paragon) with minor bandaiding I was able to take him down!
So my question would be, can I take down the Balron? I know I can peace a normal one, and my second question would be could I take down a Balron (Paragon) and these battles are with my trusty CU Sidhe!? There was one in there this morning and I am really tempted. Any thoughts or input is greatly appreciated.

It can be done! I've seen it but you have to never miss a bandage and you CANNOT move or you're a ghost and the cu will follow. Remember, paragons retarget on movement. And if you area peace, it could retarget on you when that wears off. I'd probably have the cu where you can heal it and not even bother with the peace, just keep healing it until the balron starts trying to get away, then the peace could come in handy! Good luck!

Handy tip though since the previous poster is correct they can retarget on movement, you can send in the pet from a distance then TELEPORT next to the pet and it won't retarget.

Awesome advice! I will post how it goes, I think I will take my wife down for the adventure as well..... what do you all think about that (Paragon) Balron? Stay away or give him a try?

Well I must say it was an interesting night!! Killed a few Balrons, they were easy with some peace thrown in. Then some butt heads lured a paragon over to where we were killing bloods... we died horrible deaths, over and over again. Lost a few Sidhe's (new tamer with nothing bonded yet) so alot of time was spent taming more Sidhe's and running back and forth.
I didnt know there was a succubus room down there, kinda rough with the hellcats but also a blast to work her over a few times. I am assuming my wife had fun, other than me getting frustrated at dieing on the taming part a few times... LOL

Tip for you Udrak if you are a mage..

Turn to elf.. polymorph to human man.. It stays that way till you turn it off or die.. then just cast it again.. Voila.. you can see the mask
