DESTRUCTION IN STONEKEEP!! TOWER DESTROYED!!

Yew's rebel movement made it's most audacious move to date on the eve of the Sabbath, as a local cell of protesters completed a tunnel shaft that lead to the foundations of a militia tower! The large stone building is believed to have housed Lord D'Gar's marksmen division prior to it's collapse and rebel rumours about the town state the former defenders of Cedarwood have claimed responsibility for it's destruction. Opinion was mixed in the King's Deer last night as Guardsmen debated the extent of what they had first believed to be an 'accident'. But this reporter heared several eye witnesses, including Jones, a local Cooper, report Lord D'Gar's discovery of the rebel tunnel and it's purpose.

Between nine and ten on Sunday night, as the Blue drained from the sky, a great rumbling filled the Stonekeep meadow as stone and earth gave way and the great tower came crashing down. As D'Gar and his marksmen were left to Delve through the remains of the fallen tower, the Lord Protector gave out a cry of shock as his heavy armour dragged him through the thin ground above the tunnel as the passage caved in. Flailing and struggling, his Scarlet mane clotted with Yewish soil, our lordly noble was left to flail like a beetle on it's back as the earth poured in about him. Not the only victim of unsteady earth, corporal Derwyn found herself Hooked into the collapsing tunnel in the moment's madness.

Soon the militia set about pulling free their Lord Protector as the rebels were left to Peel away, startled, down their tunnel to safety. A series of explosions rippled through the soil as the wily rebels brought down further segments of the crudely made shaft to cover their escape. Further examination of the crippled tower's supports is believed to have revealed the rebel's plan to Byrne through the building's foundations and sink it to the ground. Local urchin Criofan Geraghty was sent into the dark of the shaft as the militia discovered it's entrance and despite the Lord Protector's first impressions, Dragons were not responsible.

No doubt the local rebels will be claiming this a valuable Wyn in their struggle to victory over their loyalist foe, but the garrison at Stonekeep has a long history of hardship and it will take more than marauding rebels branding sharpened Shanks to stop them.
