Does storage expansion transfer to new homes?

I have a nice 18x18 with that 20% storage expansion that came with ML (or was it AoS?). Now I am thinking of placing a castle - one of the few perks of the dwindling player base. The question is now:

If I place a new home and let the old one decay - what happens to the additional storage? Will my castle also have +20% storage or not?

Yes I believe the storage is attatched to you account not one particular house.

On my keep the storage now is 4226...
And I still filled it up..

There is a code you can buy now to get a 7th char slot and more storage, if you're a packrat like most people and can fill up your house pretty quick.
