How do I get into that big group of zombies at the starting city? its to the east of the safe city? I can't seem to get in there

I believe the area you are referring to is in Old Haven, and also contains the Dark Knight, or some such. This area (inside the walls) is part of the new-player missions utilized in UOKR, if I am not mistaken. As I have never been able to run KR successfully for more than a few minutes, I have not actually done much inside those walls. If you have KR, though, you can try it out. The tutorial will walk you through how to interact with the environment, as well as explaining combat and spell casting. Aside from the new-player quest, though, I do not believe you are able to get into this area.

He's right, I'll also add that you don't need to have the "young" status to make a char and go there, it just must be a newly created char under the KR client.

Also note that when you'll go to those zombies you'll be PWNED, cause they're there to teach you the consequences of Death and looting your corpse.

Doing this intro allows you to fight later the Dark Knight, who will grant you with one of 3 gifts, one being the skill tutor statuette, worth about 4M on europa and very useful for training. It tells you if what you are doing is the best to gain in the skill you're using (when fighting a monster it tells you if they are good for your skill level)
