Re: Need strategy in exodus dungeon

I have always been extremely effective soloing in Exodus (I've done that quest so many times it's insane). In fact, I find I die less solo, as it's rather hard to coordinate most groups around paragons and such.

Your targets will be one of the four ends, North, East, South or West. There are large rooms there that each spawn overseers and minions.

I usually kill off any controllers in the way with EVs, as their spells hit kinda hard if you aren't wearing a good resist suit. Once I get to the room of my choice, I aim an EV in as far as I can towards the spawn, run around the corner and invis if anything is flagged on me, then go back and drop another. Yes, EVs will be dispelled quickly but NOT insta-dispelled, just replace them as they drop and keep the mana coming up.

If a paragon is sighted, get the F outta dodge, precast an Invis, move away and hit the invis when you know the thing is outside your screen, immediately precast another and move away, you'll want to hit it again if it comes back in sight. Abandon that end and try another. Unless of course it's a Controller paragon, you can take him out with EVs easily. If you're truely determined you can kill paragon overseers with enough EVs, just don't run outta mana.

If you die, it's not too harsh a walk to the Gargoyle City, Mistas. Just hang a left after the lava (head north that is) and the entrance is North West of the beginning of the desert area.
