I'm brand new to this shard, and I've spent wee bit of gold I have on instruments, so it will be a while before I can afford an LRC suit. Maybe I'll get lucky & find some pieces laying around.

GM magery in a couple days, really? things certainly have changed since I played last. i remember spending LOTS of time on a boat working magery

If you have ML access, you can just go to the swoops area in the Twisted Weald and jsut pick through the loot people leave behind. You can make a 100% lrc suit there quick.

I used to scavenge around in Heartwood as well to find decent weapons, jewerly, and armor.

Swoop's not as well farmed as he used to be. I go there frequently and I almost never see another player competing with me for turns.

I'm building my bard on Baja. I found a -29 magery spell channeling knife on a monster in despise, made my training pretty easy & I just GM'd magery yesterday, and since i don't plan on powerscrolling, I think I'm ok. I appreciate the offer, though. Here's where I stand on training

total cost for reagents was around 40k, I think. Saving the tough stuff for last. ha. All my provo gains have been from hunting ettins for gold so I could buy reagents.
