I'll second that opinion


I made a thief again not to long ago. I'm not going to be to offensive, but I wanna be more of a survival and getaway artist.

Stealing, Snooping 60 \ 100
Hiding, Stealth 100 \ 54
Healing, Anatomy 30 \ 30
Magery 52

I can always use a "mage weapon" if I have to *winks*

Still very new(b) right now, but Im getting around to it.
I do use alot of manipulation and trickery to get what I want in tram. I don't do this on my other characters. I get into the "role" of the character I am on and act accordingly and I treat each character like a different person.

Already earned 1 cursed arty, and 100k on my thief.
yay me!

p.s. I do try to counter my negative actions on my thief by helping the people in the community with my other character(s).

Personally I prefer Muggng to Theivery

Ahh well now you see.. thievery is where the skill and the actual "art" come into play. I believe being a thief is more about style.

The petty thieves now a days make us look bad. They will steal anything from bandaids to potions... a true thief actually picks a target and has ways of getting around the boundaries of trammel.

Other non-game skills of a thief include:
Manipulation
Charm
Disguise
Acting

Such skills as listed above come in handy and should be used well.

There is always more than one way to play a thief.
