I am running a Mage/Spellweaver/Necro Character and I was wonder how important is Sprit speak to Necro? If it is important how bad will it cripple me not to have it?

as posted in the FoF this week.. spirit speak is used while you're in wraith form.. it also makes corpse skin last longer *shrugs*

Spirit Speak is Eval for Necro. The higher your SS, the more damage and/or longer lasting your necro spells will do/be. No SS on a necro is borderline worthless, except perhaps with very specialized templates.

Yah, I personally run 100 necro/120 spiritspeak on my pvp character, for Pvm I would proably only go 80 or 90 necro..

does that mean a necro mage doesnt need eval intel????? with 120 SS?

My understanding is this: you will still need Eval if you are planning on using Magery for direct damage spells. You could skip on Eval if you only plan on using EV's and buffs/debuffs, but for spells like flamestrike and explosion, your damage output would suffer greatly.
