I have really been enjoying using spellweaving (up to 92 now). But I haven't been able to see it in great effect yet because I haven't found many people that actually use it beyond JOAT, to do a good circle with.
So I was just wondering if its not very popular?

On a side note, are trogs the only things the scrolls spawn on? (still missing a few)

It is VERY useful, but not very popular due to the mana costs. Quite a few spawning guilds lean on it heavily. Mainly it is the fact to be TRULY useful, you have to cast arcane empowerment to harness the benefits, and that does not last long enough.

As to scrolls, they can be found on most of the named monsters as well as troglodytes, or any ML specific monster.

It is very useful as the baldguy said. I have spellweaving on 2 of my chars (mage and archer). If you are PvM and doing bosses it is a must have I feel.

As others have said, it absolutely rocks for PvM, and is extremely useful for PvP. When you get to high levels, and you have a lot of SDI equipment on as well as having a level 5-6 focus, you can hit monsters for 450-600+ damage each hit with Word of Death. Fun stuff.

I completed the spellweaving books I did with scrolls from changlings. Please do not forget the summon fiend or summon fey scrolls you have to get through a quest from Sanctuary also, they do not spawn on monsters. PLUS if you were given a full spellweaving book, you still cannot cast that spell until you do the quest. I just thought I'd mention it because maybe it's the reason your book isn't full. I am missing basic scrolls like natures fury and thunderstorm. (Still haven't tried the summon fiend quest yet though).

I went for the Spellweaving bard template, and so far its working decently (pixies kill all!!).

Scrolls also come from Cu Sidhes. Found that out quite by accident while training discord. Why should non-spellcasting dogs carry them, anyhow...maybe because they are fey?

All ML creatures carry scrolls.

Yeah, I'm going to have to learn a little more about ML. Got the quest done last night. (with a fairly worked up mage/necro it was really easy). Worked the skill up to 28 or so. Arcane Circle just isn't getting the gains fast enough, so I'm going to have to go hunting for scrolls so I can get my training out of the way.

I am seeing another good product to start putting on my vendors. I can't say any on Siege are selling these scrolls. They could bring in a good amount of gold imo...la
