elf to Human quest

I am chagning one of my chars from elf to human. I have to goto Ish. My char has very bad karma. This char was a necro mage. If I am doing the quest will the pixies attack me? Or does the quest over ride the karma thing?

dang-it I guess I will just take him to the painted caves and cast some ev for awhile to bring it up.

yes, but as is the nature of necros it won't stay positive for long. simply casting spirit speak can drop karma

I have done the quests in ilsh with the pixies on my very negative karma necro. It can be done. Having a very fast mount helps. Knowing exactly where in the spirituality forest you need to get to helps. When I had to talk to Airelle and do her part of one of the quests I started out by being as directly south of her as I could get but not in the forest. The strip of land between the woods and the mountain is perfect. Almost always there is no spawn of pixies down that far. Be ready to run and precast invis if you have it; if you don't have a friend with you that can cast it. Then run like he**. Get close enough to her to talk to her and finish casting your invis spell. Do all of the negotiating with her while invissed. then run back out. If you have a friend with you have him wait next to her with invis ready so that he can cast on you as soon as you get there. For me, with an ethy mount the pixies hardly hit me. When I did the quest I did them once by myself on one of my necros and the second time I did them with a friend who was also a necro and we both never died, (at least until we had to go talk to the twerp in Sanctuary, but that is another story).

I love taking my necro mage to Ilsh when I'm bored. Just kill them lol. But DO make sure you have insurance money, and have nothing in your backpack you feel the need to recover lol.

You can also do that part of the quest Felside at either Spirituality or Sacrifice shrine. I do not remember exactly, but the pixies are not there.
