GUARDSMEN REPELLED IN EMPHATIC DEFEAT!

Defending Volunteers triumphantly made a mockery of Lord D'Gar's proposed lockdown of Southern Yew this few night's past as they routed a force of senior guardsmen from the hamlet of Cedarwood. But as both men escaped their would-be attackers, the conflict returned to the village itself.

Soon the rebels had the upper hand and the besiegers began to fall. Battle hardened champions of the militia, guardsmen Fraser and Tripps were sent to the dirt and this reporter even witnessed a Volunteer's bolt strike down Lord D'Gar! The routed guardsmen carried their Noble to safety in the aftermath of the assault and brave displays by Corporal Walker and his veteran Captain covered the militia withdrawal.

It is understood the furious Lord Protector has mustered his guardsmen for a final, angry drive into Cedarwood Village as he stakes his claim on the land. 'Free Yew's days, he will believe, are being counted as the iron machine of the militia prepares it's next assault. This weekend will offer little rest to rebel kind.
