Hi everybody, i haven't logged into UO since 2002 when Blackthorns Revenge went live. I started in 97 just after beta. times have changed i see..

last friday i created a new toon on the Pacific Shard and went to Britains Bank. it was weird not seeing a soul in sight. that place used to be packed w/ players chatting and selling their goods. now it's a ghost town. same on Legends where i decided to place my home.

i read somewhere 40,000 still play ultima. where r they hiding at?

Also i just want to say. other games may have the 3d graphics and eye candy. but i have yet to find one that has the content UO has. i missed owning a home, fishing up Mobs, tending to plants and taming dragons. now i read there are aquariums and more rares and more places to adventure to. i hope there are plans to keep UO alive and around for many more years. no other game can honestly compete with content (one get bored questing and buildin up lvl's to keep up w/ friends). don't honestly care if i have to start over with a newbie account either. i just hope EA keeps UO alive! i missed it, now i am back.

btw, not to crack on the 3d dragons in UO. but i still think the original 2d versions look the best. my only wish would be is an option in KR to keep those 2D!!! they actually stood next to ya and flew behind ya. the 3d ones never rest. always gliding or hovering. plus they take up more space than the 2d versions

A lot of bank activity has moved to Luna on some shards. I miss the days of hanging out in Brit as well.

yup i really am missing those days too. i haven't explored much of the new lands, but i'll check out luna on my shard and hope i find some signs of life lol ty

Actually it's likely way more than 40,000.

On some shards, the West Brit Bank has never quite recovered from an invasion and now bank-sitters go to Luna.

There's also the fact that some find shopping at Luna to be more convenient than bank-sitting.

And shards simply differ tremendously in their levels of activity, and on what exactly is done.

Brit Bank in Atlantic is still very full. Even early in the morning there a still a few people hanging out there. And in the evening the place is packed.

welcome back! can't speak for your shard, but europa has people at luna, britain and skara brae bank continuesly. as for roleplayers, quite spread.

Welcome Back! You might want to try to get your old accounts back if you can remember your login and password. I left for many years but all my peeps were waiting for me with FULL bank boxes! Good luck to ya!
