What do you do when a skills locked bugged?

I currently am training Archery and my Tactics from 0.

Archery is now in the 80s, but Tactics has frozen at 33.9 when Archery was around 50. My total skill set is not yet at 700, so what's the problem? Is there a way to "unfreeze" the skills if they are glitched?

Go to the basement of Despise around Ogre Island and hunt Ogre Lords. It will rise again. Just stay mobile. They hit hard.

LONG before you mess with Ogre Lords, go and kill lizardman upstairs, and ettins/earth ele's on 2nd floor of despise. This should get your tactics moving. Trying to go against OL's will not move your skills upward little, if at all.

I had the same problem lizerdmen with a hatchet seems to be woking. slowly but it is raiseing a bit

Tactics is an annoyance.
You need to be fighting creatures with a tactics skill close to your own, similar to how it is with weapon skills.
Try looking on the hunters' guide on Stratics for creatures around your tactics level (the larger the deviation from your current skill level, the slower the gains, in effect).

Thanks, will give the Lizardmen a try. Forgot about the relative skill level thing necessary to get gains ;(

also try and use a weaker bow. The more shots you take the better chance you have at gaining. No one shot kills!!!!
