Re: Training Parry guide

Yeah. Sheep. I agree.

I went naked, armed with only a club, and a mace weapon I had no skill in (I am swords). I also carried no shield. I went from 100 parry to 120 parry in a few hours.

Best to remember, however, that you won't see a gain, or at least I didn't, for the first 15 minutes or so, then they fly by.

Just go to the Yew sheep pens. Go to war mode once inside. Run around clicking on as many sheep to attack you as possible, then toggle to Peace mode. Stand there and just heal once in awhile.

Kinda funny. If sheep had real teeth, they would be the most dangerous predators in the game. *winks*

Maybe you figured this out in the meantime, but I'll speak up anyways. You were getting hit less surely because of Anatomy (ie the Anatomy + Eval Int wrestle defense). That is also the reason you want to equip a non proficient weapon to train parry, rather than going unarmed, to remove Anatomy from the Defense equation. I have no idea why a bloodwood spirit should help you in defense.

And I've always used Deer to train my parry, along with a few suits of non runic dull copper to max out phys resist on the cheap.
