Fun with Snow!!!

Found this lovely report from Larissa over at Stratics about the fun to be had on TC,and thought some of you here who havent tried it out yet ,may want to do so, after seeing the screenies.

Okay, since the Winterland Thread is SUPER long and Draconi has taken the time to do all that cool stuff for us AND today he put in the snowball wars and I don't know how many of you actually KNOW that the snowball wars are going on right now or how they work, I took it upon myself to enlighten you....only because I think the snowball wars are totally awesome and I want all you guys to try it at least once!!!*smiles sweetly*

Okay so here are the instructions per Draconi's post in the winterland activity thread:

Once you are in Winterland, go to the West Brit Bank, east through the tunnel of love (Make sure you kiss someone on your way through! *Grins*) and north to the dance stage...there you will find the big Christmas tree. Next to that are two gates...the white one leads to the Snowball Wars Arena.

Once you go through, you'll enter the *staging area* where there are bleachers where you can watch the current war while you are waiting for the next one to begin. Each war is 5 minutes, the count-down timer is located in front of the bleachers for your convieniance.

Directly West is the gate to the holding pens where you are automatically divided into two teams; Red and Blue.

Once the war begins, you are placed on the field, each team on opposite sides, and a pile of deadly snow is placed in your backpack.

AND WE'RE OFF!! RUN and find youre opposing team and pelt them with snow!! But hurry before they get you!

GO HAVE FUN!!!!!

Yes,do go try it out.It looks GREAT fun.Get your guildmates/friends together and take part, or just go along and join a team to try it out.

JCBuilder isnt happy that

Some people are able to hiding and stealth for a long period of time. The rate of life loss should be doubled at least to prevent it from happening. A lot of times you sit there for 2 minutes while some lamer just hides.

Also, I don't know if double throwing is supposed to be a feature but it has earned me MVP about a dozen times. Pre-pack a snowball and hold it on your target cursor. If you wait to long the snowball won't be tossed so you have to time it right.

He can relax though as the High Priest of Indoor Plumbing and Abominable Snowman replied
