I will put in some gold for a purse to win on the days i have a fighter in. And i am looking for a champion now.... Who i will sponser the fights 3m each time i put a fighter in.

Only thing I'm worried about is if the purse gets to large it may inspire someone to work around the rules to win it, as anyone can enter a fighter, as long as they go by the build rules.

I'm shooting more for a event thats just entertaining, like GG's dart matches. I would appreciate though if you'd be willing to kick in some gold and we could use it for door prizes to draw people to the event, and theres no stopping anyone from betting on the fights

I now have a champion, ready to spill blood at my command.

Sorry, the holidays have kept me very busy, and I just lost a close friend and co-worker earlier this week, so UO has been on the back-burner for me.

I know the 13th is coming up and there are 2 champions that I know of Covetous & Chaos. I would think 4 fighters at least would be required to make this interesting, 4 fighters= 3 rounds

(OOC) Tis not a problem havok. Whenever your ready to be co-owned to the tournament hall let me know. No matter what is planned you always have first dibs on the tournament hall.

Oh i wanted to ask, the location for this...if it's not in fel that means they have to drop whatever guild they are in and join ours for duration of fight, some will not want to do it. I know my champions will not drop their guild even for so short a time. And this COULd be a way to get some different types of RP'rs involved, maybe dip into the pvp world....

Not doing the fights ATM due to R/L events seriously restricting my UO time, and not enough champions yet. I don't think I have set a pixellated foot within the realm in weeks. Which is one reason I haven't been pushing the event itself more, posting, etc....also I know that some CoS members wished to talk about it and I have been unable to attend any of the recent meetings.

If or when I hold the fights these are the rules I am going with: Pit Fighter Rules

The fights will be held in PaxOku, this will require fighters to join a fighter guild, even if its just for that night.

Would it make it easier to hold the fights in fel? yes, but also less manageable.

I'm not going to go into the whole tram/fel debate. This event is open for everyone to come and watch, or if they are willing to go by the established rules, join.

This is not simply for rp'ers or pvp'ers, holding this event in PaxOku, I believe, is a chance to introduce both types of game-play, in a safe enviroment, to people who have not tried either before.

I know some will disagree with my views and opinions, but you can't please everyone, right?
