The Powder quest wasn't changed, you still get 100 measures of powder for 200 zoogi fungus. What changed was the BOS quest. A BOS spawns with 4-5 charges now instead of 5-9. Big whoop, the bags are useless now.

For those of us who farm leather or other resources, BOS's are completely useless now.

Why didn't they just change it to where you couldn't send gold in a BOS, if that was their aim?

Now if I'm in the middle of the fel lost lands and ACTUALLY FIND a frostwood tree with my lumberjack, for instance, I can only take what wood I can carry on me or on my bug. On me = about 220 logs (my carp isn't quite GM yet) and on my bug is 800 logs. So, if a repeat spawn occurs, I have to either chop it all and leapfrog it back to the bank in delucia or papua (which can be difficult if you're all the way down by tortise spawn) or walk out, come back, find the same tree and continue.

So another nerf to crafters, yay!

By the way, 220 logs weighs 440 stones, which, under the new system, is 44 charges of BOS. That's one charge for 5 logs. Completely useless.
