Being fairly new myself some of the things I needed to know I will post here also.

Found this great resource n LOTR forums compiled by Calenyavie.

Song Compilation
This thread will (hopefully) be your source for instructions on how to play songs in game. This post will be updated with new song as they are posted, I will do my best to keep it up to date. If you have a request or submission, post it below. Print these out for easy access when in-game.

I use and recommend Psomm's keymapping:

QWERTYUI = Note 1 thru 8 (This is the low octave C to C)
ASDFGHJK = Note 17 thru 24 (This is the high octave C to C)
123 = Note 9,10,11 (This is low B and low octave black keys C# and D#)
567 = Note 13,14,15 (this is low octave F#, G#, and A#)

lotro.com is full of informative information. I highly recommend it for everyone.

Also for songs id recommend using ABC songs.. easy to google to find big sites with plenty of songs.
