KR Download Problems

I'm having major issues downloading KR. Whenever I download it and try to open it using winzip it says it cannot be opened due to an invalid archive or something like that. (cant remember exact error) any suggestions? I tried using IE and Firefox to download.

Which site were you using? A couple of them were corrupt for me as well.
I think I used game daily (2 weeks ago). It's the bottom one.

I kept having similar problems, although the files looked to be the right size it always failed to decompress - in the end, I used a download manager to make sure I got a good copy, and then a zip repair utility to fix it - for me a program called DiskInternals ZIP Repair sorted it out in the end, it's a free download so if you keep having problems, use Google to find it and give it a go.

I'll give it a go when I get home from work.. one more queston on this though, I cant seem to find where the file downloaded to. It said it downloaded to my desktop but when I looked there I couldnt find it.

You should have a zipped folder on your desktop titled Setup-uokr-2.4 6.0.3-enu-single.

If you cant locate it go to

Start>Search and type it in there .It should then locate it for you.

You will then need another folder to unzip the files into.

Just a quick note... Dont delete the installer once your done keep it. I was having problems patching (KR wont patch anymore) and the only advice i was given by EA was to reinstall KR... Pain in the butt when you've deleted the installer and cant be bothered to go through the pain of redownloading it!!

For those of you having issues downloading KR with Firefox, add these two FF extensions... DownThemAll and FasterFox. Those of you using IE... get FF.

Actually a download manager will help IE too.

KR not updating? Are you running Windows Vista? Then run KR as an administrator. If WinXP, than there is another issue.

Ok now when I try to extract the files I get an error saying the "signature bytes" required by the Microsoft CAB specification are missing. Any suggestions?
