Jewels Or Is It Gems?
Ive not played UO in 5 years so i have a quick question......
I know you get gems from mining for crafting, but at what skill level and do you need to do anything special to mine them? Also how do you craft with them? If anyone could provide a link or explanation that would be great and most appreciated. Thanks. |

Ya what Dip said!
 Any gm miner has the ability to find gems. The finding is completely random and can come from any type ore spot which they apparently are all any type now. Elves have a slightly better chance of finding them! Shovel/pick can be set to ore or ore and stone makes no difference. The crafting with them is unique to each recipe that uses it. If you have the skill to make the recipe (and you have "learned" the recipe) then you can use the gems. |

Any GM miner with UO:ML access that is. I found out the hard way. Can't mine the gems or jack the new woods unless you are UO:ML.
