I'm sorry to say I'll have to cancel tonights event, as I just got tied up in RL.

Was good to see many from the community battling away last night in the defense of Magincia. I was amazed to see a unit from the Yew Militia diving headlong into a Dark Father and battling well.

Everyone is working together there well from what i have seen when i have taken my various characters there which is great encouragement.

Lets hope we can as a shard hold back the Chaos creatures.

One tentative tactical suggestion, I suspect we need to be more careful trying to keep the docks area clear of the bigger invaders, we are already seeing some of the moongate area turning to rubble and if my suspicions are correct, the docks may well be damaged in a similar way should the invaders get the chance - and if we lose the docks, we lose the war...

Naturally the temptation, when hurt badly, is to run for the docks - especially if you have a revenant attacking you - but that brings disaster for the healers there, and often for the people just arriving from Trinsic who run straight into a Dark Father. If we had more awareness of several healing points (I noticed that the healers were spreading through the town, which certainly helps greatly) we could reduce this - and it would help if each also had a mage available to dispel anything 'attached' to a running warrior, rather than them running to the ferry to try shake it off. I'm happy to delegate one of my family mages to that role.

I say let them have Magincia. Where did all the super invaders come from?

I cant remember but are there any weapons which have dismiss summoned on them? (arrghh too many games in my head to keep it all straight). Obvious strategy is to form teams/guild groups. Similar to Doom/boss fights team up and work as a unit! I've seen groups pwn bosses like cutting thru butter so I know you guys have the training. Watch each others back and come out victorious!

Magincia will survive as so far there has been a constant stand of defenders around Magincia.

All is not lost for so far its mainly archers who have been manning the line of defense. Soon with the dying down of the fires others will come and with them their pets.

A trust worth spy named only as Droconi has managed to create a detailed map of each area that the invasion forces are tactfully trying to take, it is thereby worth fortifying areas they do not hold and defeating them in reverse order to push them back to the moongate. Then guards should be stationed at all times to secure the gate. May the Virtues guide you in all things.

Then i would say we are doing well for rarely if ever do the hell spawn managed to reach past the section you have labelled 4 so far . . . .

some more interesting information is for mages to cast thunderstorm on trapped/buried monsters to kill/teleport them out. Also for mages to use earth eles and EQ on beserkers to do any damage. Lastly for any that have not yet noticed you can now collect power, mystic and vanquish weapons from most monsters, these are handy against them.

I have heard that the Beserker Scyth is a blackrock infector, is this true?

Well, if I get one I'll let ya know...I never use regular blackrock. If infected monsters start popping up I'll be sure to let ya know. ;)
