'Act now'

It has led to six severe flood warnings, five flood warnings and 19 flood watches nationally, concentrated on Norfolk, Suffolk and the north Kent coast.

The severe warnings in place between Winterton, Norfolk; and Aldeburgh, Suffolk; carry an Environment Agency alert stating: "Severe flooding is expected. There is extreme danger to life and property. Act now."

From the north Kent coast around to Sandwich and Deal, people are being asked to keep an eye on the weather and tides.
I actually live just enough inland between Deal and Sandwich,to be away from any danger.

The worst time is expected early tomorrow morning around 7.00am when it will be high tide.

There were gales earlier up to 50mph, but these have subsided for now.

The rain has stopped also, but its eerily calm.

Its that 'calm before the storm' feeling.
