Hey i'm at 55 Provoc, Just started this char, I was wondering if anyone has some good adive or areas, to goto when needing to raise it... I'm at a loss since I'm just coming back... btw Music is at 58.9

I'd work music to 100, just set a UOA macro to keep playing your instrument. Once you get that to 100, I've found the best thing to do is find a couple animals appropriate to your level, lock them in pens in your house, and provo them onto each other.

JFK is absolutely correct. It is a waste of time to ty to raise any other bard skill until music is at LEAST 80. Nother tip, make sure you do not go over 100 music until done training all other skills.

For provoke specifically, go to Ice Island and Barrier Island ( attached to Trinsic). Just provoke everything you see. This will get you to around 75.

Then get some jewelry to raise you to the 80's, and provoke drakes. There are tricks, but I am STILL waiting for a legality check on my methods.

It depends on what you want to do. I suggest working your peacing up as quickly as possible. Targeted or area peace will allow you more "safe" time to train other barding skills.
I suggest:
120 Music
120 Peace
120 Provo
120 Magery
120 Med
120 Eval
That is a beast of a char.
Some people will tell you to get disco in place of another skill. That is up to you. If you feel like training disco for 2 years, go right ahead. Provo takes long enough. If you are gonnna do disco, I suggest buying an advanced char token, choose a bard temp, and go from there. Nothing better than starting at 70 disco and provo. I wish I would have done that.

Ah sweet griz, your are very helpful, I was thinking instead of magery getting Fencing, just cause it seemed more Bardish.. i guess to me... or archery... But Magery would be cool just wondering

There are decent bard templates with weapon skills, but the truly godly are all mages. They are much more adaptable in high spawn areas than a warrior, which is where you will be with provocation.

Grizz gave an excellent high end template. You could take that character out naked and do ok.

I like discord better than eval for the template, because it makes you more functional for Doom and the UO"ML bosses. You can always swap skills out with soul stones or soul stone frags though.

If you had to choose between prov or disco which would you choose?

Well music is up to 84.3 now, and I'm working provoc up on orcs its like 56.2 or something, Its going... Slow... but going :p

That is a hard call. It really depends on what you like to do.
If you want to do champ spawns, go provoke. Same with doom, although provo AND disco work best there.

If you are doing mainly the ML bosses, then disco is the way to go.

Basically, if you find yourself wading through monsters more often than not, go with provo. IF you usually only fight one at a time, go disco.

LOL, in the old days (Pre-AOS), I Gm'ed provo in only 12 months of near constant play.
