How do I apply poison? And where can I get blow gun and darts? Can back stabe work with a blow gun? or Shuriken? thanks

You can apply poison using the poisoning skill. Blow-guns/darts and shuriken are crafted items (carpenter?), you can usually find them at a good vendor shop and alot of times the darts and shuriken will already have poison applied. No backstab doesn't work with shuriken (I just tried).

They work off your Ninjitsu skill.

They're not really weapons in the sense that you equip them and use them (like bows), they're more secondary type items (like explosion pots).

No real "best" way to use them, but they are useful.

May I ask how they are usefull? Also do I need the tracking skill for back stab? What's a good complimentary skill to go with ninjitsu, chivalery?

For pvm you can use darts/shuriken to poison monsters if you are outnumbered (or bored).

For pvp I don't think they are Really useful because most people have some form of combating posion, ie, healing, pots, orange petals, etc....

There was a really big debate on the stratics ninja forum awhile back about the tracking bonus. Most felt the slight damage bonus you get if you successfully track your opponent 3 or more screens, I believe, really wasn't worth the skill points.

If your char is human you get a shot at tracking with the "jack of all trades" bonus that humans have (basically you can attempt to use a skill as though you had 20 points invested in it, though you are really at 0).

My ninja char gives me fits, its one of those chars that you just wish you could have another 60-80-100 skill points to use. I'm just never 100% satisified with it, and I keep messing around with it.

If you are going to use it mainly for pvp you might want to post in that forum, maybe they'll have some tips for you.

Sure, most PvP'ers have a way to combat Poison, if you don't you die. It's as simple as that, but it doesn't stop people from building templates with Poisoning in it.

It's useful for the simple fact that it gives you a means to apply poison that isn't a weapon or spell. Simply put, it allows you to widen you're variety of weapon types to use for combat.

Good Point! I was just refering to his question about "how they are useful", the shuriken & darts that is, not poisoning in general.

I don't pvp much, which is why I suggested he may want to check that forum if pvp was his intent.

Does your poisoning skill effect the level of poison that you inflict from the transformed forms? (bullfrog, snake)

I use shurikens in my ninja belt. Have to keep restocking them though. Generally you double click the ninja belt and target where you want to throw it, just like one of the purple potions.
