What keeps people from playing Siege?

I would like to see a bump in the max gained per day too, but if I had to choose one, it'd be the slow gains. I can deal with minimal gains per day, but they really do take a long time to get.

Me because I'm a trammie, basically
I like to do things in game without being possibly pk'd
When I did play, I rarely ventured into Felucca, as there's no attraction for me as an individual
Seeing as how Siege is basically Felucca without insurance/blessings and no recall, it just doesn't appeal to me, heh

Siege Perilous really is for UO vets wanting a taste of something more difficult. I don't think it's just one thing, I think it's a combination.
I've had a char on it since it first came online.

I don't like the dead tree and all the tombstones. That is the reason I don't play it.

I think it's because EA thrust AOS apon us, the age of blessings, artifacts, insurance and little to no risk
People, like myself, find it hard to go back to an era where simple GM suits are the norm

I still go on every once in a while to get a gain here or there or see if I can try and pick off a wandering adventurer.

I agree with adam. Im not much for getting pk'd so much. And being use to insurence and not loosing my high end gear has got me not wanting to go back to the old days.

I would give Siege a go if I was able to develop a character as quickly as a normal shard. It's too much trouble starting from scratch all over again and then to have the gains capped and so slow is just too much for me.
