Newcastle Township Stable and Beasts

Hey all, here are pics of my house. It still needs some minor deco like and aquarium and some house addons, but you get the idea.

Re: Newcastle Township Stable and Beasts

A little about the house. The stables are in the "basement" with exterior stairs leading to the actual house part. In the basement I have my forge and anvil with the trash barrel hidden against the wall. In the last stall is my carpentry and bowcrafting area. The crates actually serve as guild only secures that I have set up as community chests where players can add or take items for free as wanted. Water troughs work nice for look and if I ever need water. The entrance to the stable is across a small bridge with water surrounding and the stable has stained glass to simulate keeping light in the building while keeping weather out. I also have a log pile like you would in the wilderness.

The second floor: Exterior stairs lead up to it. I have the stove/oven outside with a wall as a backdrop support/windblock and a mat for entry with boots outside . To the left on the outside is a covered passageway to the garden with the bulletin board, which has lamps next to it for lighting. I used spiders silk to simulate webs on plants and other regs in various areas to simulate roots, etc. Inside: I have my dining room table looking out the windows of the front of the house as you would if you were awaiting guests. I have a small room for tailoring (needs deco) and another living room like areas for my beasts (need to add an aquarium. I have a parrot on a post and use a basket which appear as a nest when I have the nightshade and eggs added. It also doubles as a secure. A closet is in the corner.

Third floor: My altar to God (I am a Christian). I need to find a book that looks like a Bible. There is also a cross built into the floor which you can't see because it's hidden by walls. It has the wine and bread for communion. Then my bedroom which has a bookshelf that doubles as a secure. Again I need to deco the bookselves. There is also the study area with a fireplace and two bookshelves which serve as deco and storage. Outside is another garden area.

You will notice that both the stable and the 2nd floor entries have the house built with an overhang as if your character needed protection on a rainy day. Basically each room will serve as an area for respective crafts, blacksmithy, carpentry, tailoring, cooking, and so on while maintaining a house look.

The plot is a 14x11, so its doable.

Why dont you track down an "Open book" for your bible? One of the server birth ones, you can get them fairly cheap considering they are server birth rares, still.
