Making a house with a basement

Im trying to figure out how to make a house that appears to have a basement. From what I gather the way to do this is make the entrance lead to the second floor and just make some stairs going down into the first. Of course I've heard of this but havnt really seen it. Is their anyone out there that can give me ideas or even some pics? Gieschen I know you got somthin for me buddy.

This one uses teleporters, but ladders and stairs obviously will work as well. Otherwise you can always do the hidden room thing like I did with my tea house from the show off your home and castles sticky or whatever it is called. Hope this is what you're looking for.

Yep that seems to have done it. Of course I need to figure out how to get the most space out of my house as possible.

If you're not opposed to using teleporters... I am personally, I just use stairs and ladders are nice too. That is a tough one though.

i dont care for teleporters to much. I like to create realistic type buildings, I am thinking of getting a few ladders. As soon as I move Im going to start a house fresh.
