Darker nights in UO?

Anyone else notice that UO nights are extremely darker since the last patch in both KR & 2D?
I'm not wearing any nightsight items ...

Ooh almost as dark as inside a dungeon. I never really notice the dark nights.

Re: Darker nights in UO?

Don't forget there is an option to turn on/off dark nights in the settings. Perhaps, the patch reset it to dark nights. I can't say I noticed it being any darker when I played last night.

Re: Darker nights in UO?

I dont know whats wrong with my main char but I happen to not be able to use nightsight potions in a dungeon. I can only use a nightsight hat, which i must continuously wear to see. When i go into a dungeon it is pitch black only showing white words of the monsters around. When it become night outside dungeons its so dark I can't see anything past my candles and globes that illuminate. Anyone else have this problem? I'll try to post a pic.

Re: Darker nights in UO?

I tried resetting the on/off dark nights .. and noper it didn't make a difference

aye cade it is so dark that you really can't even see yourself to use nightsight on ...

The following 3 pics show what happened with night ... day ... and after i gave myself nightsight ... within 45 seconds from start of 'night' to having to give myself nightsight ...

Re: Darker nights in UO?

I'm going to have to log on and check to see if I'm darker too. I have a hard time seeing sometimes as it is without it being any darker.
