Im looking to make a caster type when I re-activate my account. I am wanting a caster type that can do great in pk and huge pvp fights. Any template is great and if u can add alil short reasoning of why its good and their purpose, that would be great! Thanks in advance!

Survival go Parry/Wrestle/chiv mage...Know that at 70+ magery chiv casting is lowered to 2/6.

I have a mage/spellweaver/scribe mage, and does pretty good damage. its been a while since I have messed with the character, but I believe it was

I had pretty decent dci, I think 40ish, used staff of magi, good resists suit, all over 65. Like 10-12 MR, 40lmc, 2/6, cap on SDI(plus scribe)

I liked using this character in spawns alot. It used to be a chiv/mage, but that changed when the 69.9 cap went into effect. During harrowers, I would switch out my scribe for my poisoning from another character, to use poison fields in the choke points.

With Spwv, Essence of wind is great for wither bombers trying to push through choke points, get a focus 5 or 6 stone, and your spwv effects are greatly enhanced. I believe there is a wither/holy light equivelant type spell in spwv as well, but like I said, I havent played in a while, so I kinda forgot most of the names of the spells there.

I am sure this template is probably not the best gimped out flavor of the month template, but I have always preferred to stick to pretty basic templates with just a little added twist to them to suit my needs.

scribe will add too your over all damn inc more damn like eval and such..

Thing about that char bo is it is more pure casting hope they dont hit me type just think is another weaver hits you then your just standing there or running right? So let look it over...

This is a bad mofo mage since cant be hit much disarm/parlize god mage and bad ass weaver very scarry

Ouch, you took out your meditation, and need 80 dex to make parry effective correct? now look at whats left of your mana pool. spellweaving spells are VERY mana heavy. Hell, some are like 50ish mana, and thats still with lmc. now trying to balance magery and spellweaving with probably less than 125 mana. that will just not work. you will be effective for about 5 minutes of a spawn. I run my guy with 165 mana, and am usually ok.

Wrestling and parry wont do you jack in the situations where this character is meant to be used. Its wasting 240 points worth of skills that could be put into a ranged attack, as opposed to a defensive against 1 guy at a time. This character is meant to do aoe stuff and defend choke points and lay down poison fields.

also, I never run. I stand and fight until 1 of us is dead. I deal with the circumstances and make adjustments for it. This character is not a 1v1 character, its a casting spawning pvp character. Can handle troubles, can deal out major damage, and can assist pretty effectively in a defensive standpoint in a spawn/harry.

True but I look at this I personaly hit kill with 3 or so hits on no def non parry mage might take me 5 hits but mostly just that heh

should be like this though that is good char to have in backfield being protected buy heavy hitter or dp heavy hitters

the chars that win the chokes are wither based chars that I put in front are wither 4x acrossed titan hammer whirlwind chars, next in line is my 4x wither mage necro spell weavers, next is what your char is that is poison fields par fields and healing the front lines. I then have next fighters I like chiv 4/6 heavy shield chars protecting the flank with my archers behind them picking off the ones that are hurt and trying to run out or away from the fight. Lastly is my steath crew that is steath archers lead by my steath wrestling ninja necro char I find where the are resing and on the map pull my chars to me and keep them dead heh

This is from huge fight based atlatic shard where you have to not just cast but be able to not die heh


what im saying with this char he or she is also able to do fields and such, but cant poison where you can. I have both but not that char that will stand there and take a beating like my mage does heh
